Naruto Won Graphic Novel Category!
October 14, 2006 – 8:09 pmThe Quill Awards are a "consumer-driven award created to inspire reading while promoting literacy."
And it turns out that this year our favorite ninja (and ninja creator, Masashi Kishimoto) are up for one of these awards in the Graphic Novel category that was last year won by "Marvel 1602 Volume I" by Neil Gaiman, Andy Kubert, and Richard Isanove. Up against Naruto in this category for best Graphic Novel 2006 are "Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic" by Alison Bechdel, "Maximum Fantastic Four" by Stan Lee, "Mom’s Cancer" by Brian Fies, and finally "Hellsing, Volume 7" by Kohta Hirano.
Well guess what? Naruto just won the best in Graphic Category!!! All thanks to those fans who voted at that time! I was really happy to hear about this!!! Congratulation to Masahi Kishimoto for making such a splendid manga that really makes you moe~ and left craving for more….
