Kanon Episode 2:Introit Amidst the Snow ~introit~
A girl narrates about her never-ending dream and thus started the whole episode.

 
Yuuichi was snoring in his sleep when suddenly the sound of his alarm clock went on. Come to think of it, Yuuichi’s clock really sounds like Nayuki He immediately rise up and opened the window curtains to take a look at the weather.  A large ringing of alarm clocks from Nayuki’s room made him crazy. He immediately knocks at Nayuki’s door in order for her to wake up, but it looks like Nayuki was still wide asleep even though her alarm clocks were very noisy. So Yuuichi opened the door and snoozed off her alarm clocks and woke her up. Nayuki opened her eyes when she found out that Yuuichi was the one who woke her up. Both of them were now at the dinning room eating breakfast. Yuuichi was not fund of sweet things so Akiko offered him her very own unsweetened jam. After eating the jam that Akiko made, Yuuichi didn’t like the taste of the jam so was faking a smile to Akiko and immediately gobbled up the bread and joined Nayuki in going to school. Akiko also told Yuuichi to buy ingredients for Oden for them to eat. *Note: Oden is a Japanese pot dish, mainly composed of vegetable cooked in a kelp broth.*
 

Both of them arrived at school, Yuuichi was exhausted from running while Nayuki felt nothing at all. They were greeted by Kitagawa and Kaori. Nayuki then told Yuuichi that it would be better if they were on the same class. The class has begun, after Yuuichi introduced himself in the class Lucky for him, he ended up being classmates with Nayuki, Kaori and Kitagawa after all. Nayuki was very happy that Yuuichi is her classmate. The teacher then announced the class representative (no other than Kaori) to rise and take a bow. That was probably a Japanese culture to do that whenever the class starts and ends. It was the after class; Nayuki told Yuuichi that they will be having a practice. The two of them were talking about Nayuki’s practice, before going down stairs Yuuichi asked her to keep a secret about him living with her. Nayuki already told her fellow classmates about it, she happily run downstairs but she accidentally slipped. She accidentally hits two girls that were on their way upstairs. She immediately apologized to the two and asked if they were ok. The two were fine and headed upstairs.

After what happened, Yuuichi told Nayuki that he’ll tour around the school, Nayuki warned her not to get lost and Yuichi seems fine to that deal. That deal turned upside-down when Yuuichi finally noticed that he was lost. He opened lots of doors leading to different classrooms and was tired of going around in circles. Good thing Kaori found him and led him outside the campus, He was thankful to her. Kaori suddenly realized that he left Kitagawa, but she never mind and said good bye to Yuuichi.

Yuuichi arrived at the streets and searched for a store that has oden ingredients. He was surprised when a girl suddenly shouted for him to get out of the way, it was Ayu. So he moved to the other side but lol to say that Ayu also moved to that direction. The both crashed to each other *again*. Ayu hold Yuuichi’s hand and they ran together *again*. They stopped at a place full of snow, Yuuichi then thought that since he came into Nayuki’s place all he did was run. (poor guy XD). Yuuichi asked Ayu if what she did yesterday repeated, but Ayu said it’s not a cat that came but it’s a stray dog. After their conversation, both of them ate the taiyaki and go to apologize to the vendor. Both of them stopped when Ayu told him that they seem to be lost. Yuuichi complained that he only moved to that place yesterday and he only got a glimpse of the place 7 years ago. Ayu then told him that he knew him and she tried to hug him but Yuuichi went out of the way and Ayu ended up hitting herself by the tree and cried so hard. A girl was hit by the falling snow from the tree and dropped her shopping bag on the ground. Ayu and Yuuichi helped her in picking her things. They escorted the girl back home, later on Yuuichi asked her how to get out of the place. The two immediately say sorry to the vendor after they found their way out. Ayu was very happy that they had a great adventure together and before saying goodbye to Yuuichi, they made a pinky promise together that they’ll meet again.

"Promise" 

Yuuichi was finished in shopping for the ingredients of the oden, he was about to get out of the super market when suddenly a girl with a cloak charged an attack to him. To his surprise it was a very weak punch *girly-style of course*, the girl was pissed and suddenly she slipped. Yuuichi tried to catch her but he immediately let go of her and the girl landed on the street floor. Auu~

Yuuichi is not that type of romantic guy, aint he? First he didn’t want Ayu to hug him; Next he dropped the girls unconscious. LoL, I really loved the Ayu scene when she tried to hug him. Nayuki seems to be a slow-type of person while Ayu is an active one. That’s weird, I thought the mysterious girl was tough but she ended up kicking like a girl. Yuuichi sure does forget about everything, could it be he had a strange accident or something and what’s up for Ayu’s wings, there might be a possiblity Kanon will be a melancholic ending.
