D.Gray Man Episode 3: The Ghost Of Mateel
Allen was at the cafeteria with a weird cook with a kanji sign of love at his back. The cook noticed that he was a new member of the organization; Allen politely introduces himself to the cook. The chief told him that he can make anything for him, so Allen decided to order lots of food. The cook was dumbfounded after asking Allen if he can eat that many. Their conversation was cut-off when a person from behind them immediately shouted. It looks like someone was quarrelling on something, and it looks like Kanda was the one who started the fight. Allen was pretty annoyed about Kanda (remember ep.2), anyway Allen was the one who stopped their fight. Both of them were officially rivals and started eye-contacting until they burst into fire. Even the supporters stayed away from the two. Later on, Lenalee with Reever arrived at the cafeteria and saw the two. Reever than announced to the two that there will be going to have their mission.

They were sent to the control room where they saw Kamui sleeping on his messy desk. Reever whispered to his ears that Lenalee will be getting married; Kamui was awakened by that thought and hugged Lenalee. After getting smacked at the head, Kamui then announced that the mission will be handed by Allen and Kanda. The two were shocked and was really annoyed. Kamui then explained to them what there mission will be.

Allen was required to wear a uniform that was to symbolize him as an exorcist. Timcanpy appeared when Allen was wearing his gloves. They sailed off to the designated place.
They were later on chasing a train and jumped on top of it. They were lucky that the DRG (Dark religious organization) had reserve a first class room in the train.

In the train, Allen was reading his instructions book and asked Kanda a question. But Kanda only replied a “hmph” to Allen which really bugs him off. Their supporter/finder answered Allen’s question and explained about the innocence, Allen immediately got out of the door where he saw the finder playing cards. He introduced himself to the finder and asked even more questions regarding their mission and the “Ghost of Mateel”

Allen and Kanda’s mission: Protect the “Ghost of Mateel”
Destination: Southern Italy (town of Mateel)

Upon arriving at their destination, it seems that the other supporters were already dead. They were attacked by Akuma’s. A blow was heard at the other side of the town; Allen carelessly went the destination where he saw a finder was being attacked by an Akuma. It was useless, the finder was blown by the Akuma’s weapon and Allen went furious and attacked immediately.
There were lost of fight scenes that were going on in this episode. Kanda continued his mission to the ghost of Mateel, while Allen was being attacked with another kind of Akuma. An Akuma that talks and claimed that it has evolved. The next thing he realized was that the Akuma chaged it’s appearance to Allen.

Impression:
God, I was supposed to merge it with episode 2 anyway but at least I made the review. Did I just smell yaoi fangirls ranting about Allen and Kanda? Yup, and I downloaded some doujinshi’s too. One thing that I find unique about the series is that the plot is different from the manga. In the manga Allen is much more serious during fights (kinda cool too) But I prefer my Allen to be the cutest thing in the Anime ^_^ I’m gonna review for Kanon too, so stay tuned for that.
