Kanon episode 4
Episode 4: Caprice over the break ~Caprice~

The episode mainly focuses on Ayu and Yuuichi’s past when they first met. Ayu was crying in the streets, while Yuuichi tried to comfort her. A rumbling of Ayu’s stomach made Yuuichi brought her some Taiyaki. Yuuichi got Taiyaki for Ayu and they both sat on the bench, after eating Yuuichi was about to go but Ayu grabbed a part of his jacket. They made a pinky promise of each other to eat Taiyaki tomorrow. Ayu then went off; Yuuichi noticed that he was already late. He ran back at the supermarket for Nayuki saying that he’s a liar for not waiting.

Yuuichi was awakened by that thought; he heard footsteps coming closer to his room. The door was opened with a person giggling (which was obviously Makoto). Yuuichi noticed her and act sleeping. Makoto was holding a konnyaku and tried to take revenge on what Yuuichi had done to her (see episode 3). Makoto was counting 3…2…1… Yuuichi attacked her and shouted ZERO!!! Makoto was surprised and fell at her knees. She was questioned by Yuuichi on what she was doing with the konnyaku and told her that if she will waste food, she’ll get punishment for that. Makoto had no other choice but to eat the konnyaku (eww…) Akiko then appeared and noticed Makoto was holding a konnyaku, so she decided to drag Makoto to the kitchen and cook food for her.

The next morning, Yuuichi looked at his box packages and decided to do something with them, Makoto appeared with an Auu~ expression in greeting morning to him. Looks like she did eat a lot last night XD. They had a little teasing and Makoto swear that she’ll get revenge on Yuuichi. Akiko appeared from behind Yuuichi and told him that she’ll be buying groceries and deliver Nayuki’s forgotten lunch box. Yuuichi volunteered in delivering Nayuki’s lunch.

While walking on the chilly snowy streets, he was wondering what Nayuki looks, especially now that she’s the captain of the track team. He arrived at the coliseum and saw Nayuki wearing a Japanese P.E. uniform (*Very tiny shorts, long socks, and white t-shirt). Yuuichi called her from the distance and gave her lunch box and decided to watch their practice for a while. After seeing their practice Yuuichi went out of the gym and saw Kaori. They had a little chat together. Kaori went to school because she had a problem with her family and told Yuuichi to take care of Nayuki.

Yuuichi was wondering on the streets again but was startled when he saw Akiko, Akiko made Yuuichi handle a sack of rice. Ayu greeted Yuuichi from behind yet she tripped while running. Yuuichi then introduced Akiko to her. Ayu offered help to Yuuichi when Yuuichi told her that he’ll be moving his stuff to his room.

The three of them arrived home and Yuuichi introduced Ayu to Makoto. Yuuichi told Makoto to help in sorting out his things. After all that, Yuuichi, Akiko and Ayu were eating at the dinning table and were giggling and talking. Ayu then said goodbye to all of them and went off.

Nayuki arrived at the house and asked Yuuichi about her notebook. Yuuichi told her that he left it at school; Nayuki was really worried that she will not be able to finish her notebook. So Yuuichi went back at the school and barged in by opening one of the windows. He got Nayuki’s notebook and went off, on his way down he saw Mai with a shining beauty reflected at the light of the moon. She was holding a shiny samurai sword and made Yuuichi speechless for a while.

Rants:
Uguu~ the episode is really kawaii ^_~. Mai, kyaa! She’s so pretty and she’s so cool on the way she faced Yuuichi at the ending part. Ahh, if you really looked at the character faces that Yuuichi made, you would definitely know that there are similarities from other anime’s. For example, his face when he was still little looked like Syaoran from CCS while he made a cool look at Nayuki, his face made a similarity to Conan from detective Conan. And gomenasia for not updating much, things have been pretty busy on our school and I barely have enough time in updating.
